Sunnis and Shiites – hostile brothers?

Sunnis believe that the caliph is determined by divine decree. Shiites believe that the caliph must come from the Prophet's family, and they await the return of the Imam who has gone into occultation.

Why do Sunnis and Shiites tear each other apart, as in Iraq, for example?
Was that Allah's or Muhammad's wish? Hardly. Will you not all return to Allah, where Allah will inform you about that in which you differed? Most likely.

You can kill the hater, but not the hatred. On the contrary, killing only makes the hatred greater.

Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. Why do you not wait peacefully until the Day of Judgement?

What purpose are mutual terrorist attacks supposed to serve? Do you want to exterminate millions? Down to the last person of the other side? Or do you want to take revenge for the violence inflicted on you?

Do you not notice that you are caught in a tit-for-tat? In a never-ending spiral of violence? Did Muhammad not forbid you in the Quran to kill one another?

Shiite. Sunni. Are you not brothers in faith who believe in the same God?

Muhammad repeatedly pointed to the Torah and the Gospel, in which there is guidance and light. So love your neighbour as yourself. Man? Woman? Human being! Do not deprive the female half of the community of believers of its rights. Love both, love everyone!
Do you do that?

Achievement alone is not enough. You have to find someone who recognises it.
