A worldwide campaign should be launched in all the media that can be enlisted for it, with the aim of uniting the mass of people in their way of thinking through rhetorically and morally valuable messages.

Simple, cheap and non-violent. This card should be played.

To this end, all global problems affecting all people must be set out.

I believe in God. He wanted to put the believers of all three great monotheistic religions to the test and let them vie with one another in good deeds. Islam is currently engaged in a great struggle between the forces of reform and those of counter-reform.

Love your neighbour as yourself. Love your enemies.

That means: care for wounded prisoners. Treat prisoners in accordance with international law. Use permitted weapons in combat. Where possible, bury the fallen according to their religious rites.

And try, in a weaponless battle of the mind, to help the enemy to a new view of things. Leaflets, television, the internet, person-to-person communication.

The pursuit of the perfect world? Attempt the impossible and the possible becomes possible.
