Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When a page is accessed, the server processes technically necessary information: IP address, date and time, the address accessed, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer) and browser and operating system. This serves the secure and trouble-free operation of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The provider stores these logs only briefly and then deletes them. A data processing agreement is in place with ALL-INKL.COM.
The site's own visitor statistics
In order to see how often the texts are read, the site itself counts page views, visitors and visits. For this purpose, a short code is formed from the IP address and the browser identifier and encrypted with a random value that changes daily. It is stored only until the end of the day in question and cannot be traced back to a person. IP addresses themselves are not stored. In addition, only aggregated monthly figures are kept: which pages are read, from which website or search engine visitors come, type of browser, operating system and device (e.g. "Firefox, Windows, computer"), the language setting, time of day and day of the week, duration and number of pages of visits and the view used (classic or new). This information is stored only as totals, not per visitor. No cookies are set for counting, and the figures are not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in simple reach measurement (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Choice of view
The site can be read in a classic and a new view. Only if you yourself switch the view using the switch does your browser store this choice in a cookie called "design" (content "modern" or "klassisch", valid for one year), so that the chosen view is retained on all pages. If you choose light or dark in the new view, your browser also remembers this, in local storage and exclusively on your device. Neither is evaluated or passed on, and both can be deleted at any time in the browser settings. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG, because storage is strictly necessary for the display you have expressly requested.
AI assistant in the administration area
In his password-protected administration area, the site operator uses an AI service (Claude by Anthropic), for example to ask questions about his own texts or to write drafts. Only his own input, texts from this website and the aggregated visitor figures are transmitted, no data on individual visitors.
Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail, your details will be used only to answer your enquiry and will then be deleted, unless there are statutory retention obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and the right to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). An informal e-mail to the address given above is sufficient. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
